INSPECTOR'S DAUGHTER ABDUCTED AND CONVERTED TO ISLAM IN SOKOTO
Reports reaching us from sokoto state indicates that a 14 year old Halita Dominic Jato has been abducted and converted to islam.
In an exclusive chat with us, the father of the girl, Mr Dominic Jato, a serving inspector in the Nigerian police force said on 8th july, 2014, he returned from work and discovered that his daughter was not at home. When he asked his children and neighbours, nobody knew where she was.
This prompted him to conduct a search within the entire neighbourhood.

In an exclusive chat with us, the father of the girl, Mr Dominic Jato, a serving inspector in the Nigerian police force said on 8th july, 2014, he returned from work and discovered that his daughter was not at home. When he asked his children and neighbours, nobody knew where she was.
This prompted him to conduct a search within the entire neighbourhood.
At the end, he found out that his daughter was abducted by one ismail
mohammed in Gidan igwai area of sokoto metropolis. He immediately
reported the case at the divisional police headquarters in kwanni, and
the said ismail was invited for questioning.
In his confessional statement, he confessed to abducting the girl. He also added that he had moved the girl to the house of mallam Adamu kasarawa to be converted to islam.
Ismail was however mandated by the police to bring the girl to the station, but up to the time of filing this report,he is yet to return the girl.
Mr Dominic, not satisfied with the manner the case was handled, reported the matter at the office of the commissioner of police in sokoto state. Same was the story as the case was not handled seriously.
Still determined to ensure the release of his daughter, Mr Dominic wrote a complaint letter to the AIG in charge of zone 10, there he was told nothing could be done about the matter.
A copy of the letter which was obtained by 9ja daily news reads'''''''I am writing this letter in order to complain against Ismail mohammed and mallam Adamu kasarawa for kidnapping my daughter named Halita Dominic jato. She was born on 1st july 1999 and kidnapped and abducted on 8th july, 2014.
I conducted a search for her on that fateful day among her friends, neighbours and the entire neighbourhood and i found out that she was abducted by ismail mohammed in gidan igwai area of sokoto.
I reported the case to the divisional police headquarters in kwanni and the said ismail was invited by the police for questioning. He confessed that the girl Halita dominic jato was kidnapped by him.

of the case.
