UPDATED: UNKNOWN GUNMEN KIDNAP VICAR GENERAL OF CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF OTUKPO    Very Rev John Adeyi, Vicar general of the catholic diocese of otukpo was kidnapped yesterday on the otukpa-ogwungaga express way by unknown gunmen.   However, a family source who spoke on the condition of annoymity, say the kidnappers have asked for a ransom of #25 million naira, and negotiations have progressed to ensure his release. INSPECTOR'S DAUGHTER ABDUCTED AND CONVERTED TO ISLAM IN SOKOTO   Reports reaching us from sokoto state indicates that a 14 year old Halita Dominic Jato has been abducted and converted to islam. In an exclusive chat with us, the father of the girl, Mr Dominic Jato, a serving inspector in the Nigerian police force said on 8th july, 2014, he returned from work and discovered that his daughter was not at home. When he asked his children and neighbours, nobody knew whe re she was. This prompted him to conduct a search within the entire neighbourhood.
